Sustainable Development

Sustainable Development at Moore Street Surgery

"Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." Brundtland Commission in 1987

This includes looking after our environment and resources.

Some examples of how we are helping towards a better environment:

  • Car sharing to work
  • Filling kettles with enough water for a tea run
  • Opening windows rather than using air conditioning
  • Replacing old light bulbs with LED's
